“Neither does God strike with fists nor with kicks — whenever He punishes, He takes away one’s wisdom. Bhagwant Mann, it appears that your mental condition is not stable. You should resign and seek proper medical treatment,” said Ashwani Sharma, Working State President of Bharatiya Janata Party Punjab, while reacting sharply to the allegations levelled by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann against the BJP regarding the bomb blasts taking place in Punjab.

Sharma said that Punjab is a border state and its security, peace, and communal harmony should be the highest priority, but the Mann government has completely failed on every front. He said that throwing mud at the BJP to hide its own failures reflects cheap and irresponsible politics. He further stated that for the past four-and-a-half years, the people of Punjab have been suffering due to gun violence, bomb blasts, murders, and continuously rising criminal incidents, which are a direct reflection of the incompetent law-and-order situation under the AAP government.

Sharma reiterated that for the BJP, Punjab’s peace, security, and brotherhood remain paramount. He added that the BJP has always stood firmly with Punjab and its people and will continue to do so in the future as well.
