Bharatiya Janata Party Punjab President Kewal Singh Dhillon on Wednesday launched a sharp attack on the Punjab government, stating that the state is passing through the gravest moral and constitutional crisis in its history. Dhillon said that the recent developments have completely exposed the Punjab Aam Aadmi Party government and raised serious questions about its integrity and respect for Punjab’s religious institutions.

Referring to the latest FIR, Dhillon alleged that Punjab government officials paid ₹10 lakh to fabricate a forensic report in an attempt to mislead the Sikh community and deceive the Panth itself. He said this revelation has vindicated the concerns repeatedly raised by BJP and the Sikh community. Dhillon said that after being declared “Guru Dhokhi” and “Panth Virodhi” by Sri Akal Takht Sahib, the Punjab government has lost all moral authority to continue in office. He asserted that no political office can be greater than the honor and sanctity of Sri Akal Takht Sahib.

“The honor of Sri Akal Takht Sahib is above every chair, every office, and every political ambition,” Dhillon said. Calling for accountability, Dhillon said every minister, MLA, and government officer must now decide whether they stand with Punjab’s honor and religious values or with a government facing such serious allegations.

Dhillon also questioned AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal for defending Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann in the controversy. Addressing Kejriwal directly, Dhillon said, “You rushed to defend Bhagwant Mann earlier. Today, there is an FIR. Today, Akal Takht has spoken again. Your silence now amounts to complicity.”

Demanding immediate action, Dhillon said Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann must resign without delay, while Arvind Kejriwal must answer before the people of Punjab. Dhillon reiterated that BJP Punjab stands firmly for justice, truth, and the dignity of Punjab’s revered institutions, and will continue to raise its voice against any attempt to undermine them.
