Ludhiana, August 5

As a part of the Congress’s “Har Booth Congress Mazboot” campaign, the District Congress Committee, Ludhiana (Urban) is all geared up for the event scheduled to be held tomorrow at the Guru Nanak Dev Bhawan. According to the Congress leaders, in order to make the event a huge success, extensive groundwork and multiple preparatory meetings have been held to ensure maximum mobilisation. “We have held several preparatory meeting in order to ensure maximum mobilisation. The party leaders have worked extremely hard and we are sure that tomorrow the venue will be jam packed,” said Pawan Dewan, former DCC, Ludhiana (Urban) president and former Chairman of the Punjab Large Industrial Development Board.

Highlighting the importance of the campaign, Dewan asserted that through such programmes the Congress is effectively conveying to the people how the Aam Aadmi Party government has pushed Punjab into a state of lawlessness and economic decline. “Our message is loud and clear: Elect Congress in the next Assembly elections and witness Punjab regain prosperity,” Dewan said. Significantly, Ludhiana city is dotted with hoardings promoting the event, with the highest concentration of displays observed in the Ludhiana (West) Assembly constituency.

Meanwhile, extending appreciation to former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister and Punjab Congress Affairs in‑charge Bhupesh Baghel as well as Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, Dewan remarked that within just a few days both these leaders have managed to stir Punjab with their powerful speeches that were packed with facts highlighting the “omissions and commissions” of the Aam Aadmi Party government.
