Dehradun, June 24
On Wednesday, Sapna Rana met Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at the Chief Minister’s residence. Through the state government’s Chief Minister Skill Upgradation and Global Employment Scheme, Rana successfully completed German language training and passed the language examination. Following this, she secured employment at Schon Klinik Hospital in Hamburg, Germany, with a monthly salary of €3060 (₹3,30,000).
The Chief Minister stated that under this scheme, the Foreign Employment Cell established within the Department of Skill Development and Employment is continuously working to connect the youth of Uttarakhand with international job opportunities. Currently, the cell is providing language training to prepare youth for employment in Japan and Germany. So far, around 65 young professionals have been placed in Japan.
Cabinet Minister Saurabh Bahuguna highlighted that Germany offers significant employment opportunities in the nursing sector. Accordingly, German language training is being conducted by the cell. After completing this training, Sapna Rana, a nursing graduate from Tehri Garhwal, has been selected as a nurse in Germany. She completed her schooling at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Pokhal, Tehri Garhwal, and pursued nursing education at State Nursing College, Dehradun. Through the Chief Minister’s Skill Upgradation and Global Employment Scheme, she received German language training and secured her appointment at Schon Klinik Hospital in Hamburg.
