Patiala Foundation has remained committed to advancing sustainable public welfare initiatives across Punjab, working collaboratively with educational institutions, government bodies, corporate partners and local communities to foster a culture of safety, responsibility and civic engagement. Project SADAK, an initiative of Patiala Foundation, that continues to champion road safety awareness through a range of community-centric interventions, including educational programmes, outreach campaigns, stakeholder engagement activities and visibility-focused distribution drives. By promoting responsible mobility and preventive safety measures, the Foundation seeks to create safer roads and more informed communities.
KATALINE Ltd., recognised for its expertise in road safety materials, infrastructure visibility systems and reflective safety solutions, continues to support interventions aimed at improving safety standards at both institutional and community levels. Through “Kataline Glow for Life”, the organisation seeks to strengthen visibility-based protection measures for vulnerable road users and frontline workers.
An event was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Puneet Sharma, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Amity University, Mohali, Punjab. He supported the distribution of Reflective Safety vests to the Guards and Housekeeping staff of the University by Patiala Foundation. The event was attended by Registrar Dr. Dalip Kumar and the Director Administration & Operations Col. Amrit Ghotra, who showed their faith towards this initiative. Highlighting the significance of the initiative, Ravee Singh Ahluwalia, Founder and CEO of Patiala Foundation, remarked, “Meaningful change begins when communities come together with a shared sense of responsibility. Through our initiatives in road safety, environmental sustainability, and community welfare, we strive to create lasting impact at the grassroots level. Every reflective jacket distributed, every dry leaf composter installed, and every birdhouse placed is a step towards building safer, greener, and more compassionate communities. We remain committed to working alongside institutions, partners, and citizens to transform awareness into action and create a better future for all.” He further emphasized that road safety requires a culture of proactive adoption of protective measures rather than reactive responses after accidents occur.
The initiative aligns with the broader objectives of public safety, sustainable communities and collaborative welfare-oriented engagement reflected in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 3, SDG 11, and SDG 17.

Patiala Foundation extended its heartfelt gratitude to all the members of KATALINE Ltd. The event was supported with enthusiasm by our star volunteer Satnam Singh, Kritika Joshi. Dr. Abhinandan Bassi, member and Nishu Gupta (Coordinator) were also present at the occasion. The event outlines yet another step taken by Patiala Foundation in promoting safer roads for all. The Foundation also extended its heartfelt gratitude to the administration of Amity University specially the IQAC Staff members Pooja Lalwani, Shallu, faculty members, student volunteers and all stakeholders whose support and active participation contributed to the successful execution of the initiative along with representatives of KATALINE Ltd.
The event marked another meaningful step towards fostering safer campus environments and promoting greater awareness of visibility-based road safety practices. It reinforced the shared commitment of educational institutions, civil society organizations, and corporate partners to cultivate a culture of safety, responsibility and community well-being across Punjab.
