Inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Digital India campaign, the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) digital training initiative has surpassed 1.1 million participants, with the next milestone set at training every booth worker across the country. National General Secretary and Rajya Sabha MP Tarun Chugh announced that at least 10 workers will be trained at each booth, aiming for a nationwide total of 10 million.

Chugh expressed satisfaction over the success of the ongoing program under the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Training Maha-Abhiyan, describing it as a significant step in digitally empowering grassroots workers. He highlighted that 1,101,618 workers have already joined the app-based digital learning platform, which offers study material, videos, training modules, and digital certificates in 12 languages.

The training curriculum includes an introduction to BJP, the party’s history, teachings of Pt. Mishra, Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, as well as details of government schemes under Modi. It also covers organizational programs such as the NaMo app and Mann Ki Baat, ensuring booth-level workers are equipped with both ideological grounding and digital skills.
