Chandigarh, June 23
Reacting sharply to the arrest in the case pertaining to false forensic lab reports, SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal had demanded immediate resignation of Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann. Besides, Sukhbir has also demanded strictest action against police officials allegedly involved in the matter.
In a post on Social Media handle X, Sukhbir mentioned,.”Bhagwant Mann, who is hostile to the Guru and opposed to the Khalsa Panth, misused his position to try to discredit Sri Akal Takht Sahib by arranging false lab reports. The truth behind this has now become clear through these videos, where Ludhiana Police Commissioner Swapn Sharma and SP Cyber Crime Jashandeep Singh met a fake forensic lab expert in a major hotel in Gurugram and negotiated with him to prepare false reports in exchange for money.”
The post added, “While I thank Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini for registering a case at the local police station, I also appeal that, in respect of the Guru Sahiban, the strictest possible action should be taken against these accused. With all evidence now out in the open, I demand the immediate resignation of this Guru-opposer and Panth-opposer Bhagwant Mann from the post of Chief Minister, along with the dismissal of the police officers involved in this serious crime.”
The post further mentioned, “Against Bhagwant Mann, who has gravely disrespected the Guru Sahiban and the great martyr Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Bhindranwale, undermined the supremacy of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, presented false reports before the Sangat, and used Punjab Police officers for criminal acts, an FIR under various sections must also be registered. Alongside this, Punjab Cabinet Minister Harpal Cheema—who earlier defended Aam Aadmi Party MLA from Delhi, Naresh Yadav, in the case of desecration of the Quran Sharif, and who now was doing the same for Bhagwant Mann—along with his associate Aman Arora, should resign and seek forgiveness from the Panth for their misdeeds.”
“Today, I also appeal to all ministers and MLAs of the Aam Aadmi Party to abandon this Guru-opposer and Panth-opposer, renounce the greed of their positions, resign, and dedicate themselves to Sri Akal Takht Sahib”, the post concluded.
