Speaking at the launch, Jain stated that financial literacy is an essential life skill. He emphasized that early awareness regarding budgeting, savings, banking, digital payments, cyber safety, financial planning, government schemes and responsible financial behaviour will help students make informed financial decisions. The programme will be implemented in phases. In the first phase, nearly 50,000 Government School students will be covered, following which it will be expanded across Ludhiana district.

The launch was attended by Dr. Pankaj Jain, Director, Career Resource Centre, CT University; Gurdeep Singh, Lead District Manager, Ludhiana; Ambar Bandopadhyay, Head, Governance Cell, Ludhiana; and Governance Cell members Gurmehar Kaur, Udayvir Singh, Udbhav Goyal and Bhawna Gahlot.

CT University announced its participation by nominating student interns, while the Lead Bank Office assured comprehensive training support through financial experts and master trainers. The Governance Cell has coordinated the programme in collaboration with educational institutions and banking partners. The Deputy Commissioner appealed to colleges and universities across Ludhiana to encourage students to register and contribute to this district-level financial literacy initiative.
