Punjab will not be allowed to become Mamata's Bengal — Chugh exposes Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann's desperation

BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh has strongly condemned the coordinated assault, vandalism, and hooliganism unleashed by Aam Aadmi Party workers on BJP offices across Punjab. From Ludhiana to Balachaur (New City), AAP-backed miscreants attacked BJP premises under brazen police complicity. In Balachaur, AAP MLA Sukhwindar Sukhi — an Akali Dal defector turned AAP legislator — barged into the BJP office in the presence of police, physically assaulted the district president, and engaged in open vandalism. This is nothing but a shameful nexus between khaki and khadi playing out in broad daylight.

Chugh made it unequivocally clear that this orchestrated mayhem erupted only after he issued a defamation notice to Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, demanding either proof of his allegations or his immediate resignation. That notice shook the very foundations of AAP’s political house of cards. Unable to respond with facts or dignity, Kejriwal deployed his workers to protest outside Chugh’s residence and storm BJP offices across the state. Chugh called this a calculated and desperate distraction — a deliberate smokescreen to divert public attention from ED investigations and mounting corruption scandals.

Addressing Arvind Kejriwal directly, Chugh thundered — “Listen carefully, Mr. Kejriwal. Punjab will NOT be allowed to become Mamata’s Bengal.” He questioned why — when extortion rackets operate freely, gangsters rule the streets, contract killings occur in daylight, and Punjab’s youth is being consumed by drugs — the Bhagwant Mann government chooses political theatrics over governance. Every citizen of Punjab today lives under a shadow of fear, and this government’s only response is to dispatch party workers to beat up opposition leaders. This is the AAP model of governance — mob rule replacing the rule of law.

Chugh reminded Punjab Police that their oath binds them to the Constitution and the law — not to any political party. He issued a stern warning that by providing cover to AAP’s hooligans, they are not only betraying their uniform but also committing a moral and constitutional sin. He demanded that immediate FIRs be registered and arrests made against every individual involved in attacks on BJP offices in Ludhiana, Balachaur, and across all districts of Punjab. The perpetrators — from the masterminds at the top to the boots on the ground — must be held accountable without any further delay.

Chugh concluded with an emphatic message for the people of Punjab — “We are the sons of the land of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. We do not bow to the threats of political jackals. The fight against corrupt looters will continue, whether they sit in government today or are still hiding behind the curtain. BJP does not retreat. Every perpetrator will be held accountable, and every complicit official will answer before the law. Punjab is watching — and Punjab will not forget.”
