CT Public School recently achieved a significant milestone in regional education by successfully organizing CT SPARKTANK 2026: Vision to Venture. This premier inter-school innovation and entrepreneurship challenge was specifically designed to nurture creativity, scientific inquiry, and leadership among young learners. By providing a professional platform for students to showcase their entrepreneurial vision, the event bridged the gap between academic theory and real-world application, drawing enthusiastic participation from the region’s most prestigious educational institutions.
The programme commenced with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony and a soulful rendition of Ganesh Vandana, establishing an atmosphere of inspiration and purpose. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Chief Guest Ashok Sethi and Divya, alongside distinguished Guests of Honour including Dr. Mrigender Singh Bedi, Dr. Ashish Arora, Dr. Skattar Singh, and Siddhant Rakesh. Insightful keynote sessions delivered by Dr. Bedi and Dr. Arora further motivated the audience, as they shared valuable perspectives on future opportunities in the global startup ecosystem. The presence of Dr. Anurag Sharma and Dr. Anu Arora added further prestige to the gathering.
Principal Manisha Basnet formally welcomed the guests and participants, noting that innovation-driven learning is essential for navigating the complexities of the modern world. This sentiment was echoed by Kindergarten Coordinator Suman Bhalla, who commended the organizing team and participating schools for their collective dedication. The centerpiece of the day was the Idea Pitching Competition and EXPOVISION, where students defended creative business models and scientific prototypes before a panel of judges. The energy of the competition was complemented by engaging activities, including interactive games and a cutting-edge robotic dance performance that captivated the audience.
The excellence displayed by the students resulted in a wide array of prestigious accolades. Team Zyatra from Police DAV Public School earned the Best Pitcher Award, while Team Breathe Tech took home the Best Social Impact Idea Award. CT World School’s Team 3G Spray secured the Best Start-up Idea Award, and Shiv Jyoti Public School’s Team Bite Blank was recognized for the Most Fundable Idea. Other top honors included the Best Innovative Idea for Team Sole Tracker of CT Public School, Best Technical Innovation for Team Future Minds of Innocent Hearts School, and the Best Sustainable Project Award for Team Needle Warriors of Seth Hukum Chand S.D. Public School, Variana. Additionally, Team Auto Navigators and Team Eco Yajna Squad were celebrated for their creative displays and working models, respectively.
Beyond individual trophies and high-tech prizes like smartwatches and mobile phones, the event served as a gateway to higher platforms. CT World School, Shiv Jyoti Public School, and Police DAV Public School earned direct entry into the prestigious Big Fish Pool competition at CT University. Police DAV Public School claimed the Best School Participation Trophy, while the Best Mentor Award was presented to Seth Hukum Chand S.D. Public School, Variana, for their exceptional guidance. CT SPARKTANK 2026 concluded as a historic success, marking the first time a school in the region has executed an entrepreneurship event of such magnitude, ultimately empowering students to become future-ready leaders.
