Ludhiana, May 16
Ved Prachar Mandal Punjab conducted a Vedic Declamation Contest at BCM Arya School, Lalton, for the students of Classes IV to XII. The competition was organized to promote Vedic culture, moral values, and the teachings of Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati among students.
The contest was held in English, Hindi, and Punjabi languages. In the first round, competitions were conducted class-wise, and around 21 students were selected for the final round based on their speaking skills and confidence. The finalists confidently expressed their thoughts on meaningful topics such as The Goal of Human Life, Importance of Values in Life, Scientific Importance of Yajna, Proper Use of Modern Tools, and Woman – the Foundation of the World.
The programme was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest Mr. Roshan Lal Arya, Founder of Ved Prachar Mandal Punjab, who motivated students to stay connected with Vedic teachings and moral values.
Vidya Sagar of class VII secured the first position, Ansh Bhardwaj of class-VIII bagged the second position, while Manya of class- VIII secured the third position in the competition. Their performances were highly appreciated for confidence, expression, and effective presentation.
School Principal Mrs. Kritika Seth congratulated the winners and appreciated all participants for their enthusiastic participation. She encouraged students to continue following the path of truth, discipline, and righteousness in their daily lives.
