Chandigarh, June 25
The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) today said chief minister Bhagwant Mann had again resorted to forgery by cloning the account of his old associate Jagman Samra and inserting a fake video in it to give himself a clean chit. Addressing a press conference here, senior SAD leader Parambans Singh Romana presented the original Tik Tok account of Jagman Samra as well as a similar cloned account which contained a fake video of Samra with a mask of Bhagwant Mann in his hand. “The original account of Samra does not have this video which proves that the chief minister has committed another sin by taking the support of a fake video to refute the supreme religio-temporal seat of the Sikh community.
Romana said instead of admitting that he had committed a heinous sacrilege against the Guru Sahiban and seeking forgiveness for the same, the chief minister was resorting to one lie after another to cover his tracks. Asserting that the Sikh sangat was observing everything, the SAD leader said “people are openly asking why the chief minister is changing his stance every day. First he said the video in which he has committed blasphemous acts against the Guru Sahiban was generated by artificial intelligence. When this was disproved by the reports taken by Sri Akal Takht Sahib from the top laboratories in the country, the chief minister started claiming that the video was not a product of artificial intelligence but the person in the video was not him”.
Asking that the chief minister why he had not got the video examined from CFSL, Chandigarh and why he had sent a team of police officers to procure a fake report in his favour from Gurgaon, the SAD leader said “now when these machinations have been exposed the chief minister has introduced a new theory. This theory seeks to mislead the people by giving an impression that a mask was used to produce the video in which he was depicted committing sacrilege against the Guru Sahiban”.
Romana also took on the chief minister asking him why he had defended the Gurgaon reports in his press conference today. “The Gurgaon reports speak about conducting facial recognition tests. If a mask had been used in the video as Bhagwant Mann is claiming, why did the Gurgaon labs not state so and why did they do so”, he asked. The Akali leader asserted that the SAD would continue to expose the chief minister as it had complete faith in the institution of Sri Akal Takht Sahib and knew that all those who had confronted the supreme authority of the Sikh community had always bitten the dust.
