PGIMER Haematology bags top honours at National and International Conferences

Chandigarh, November 10

The Department of Haematology, PGIMER Chandigarh, achieved remarkable success at Hematocon 2025 held in Lucknow. Dr. Sreejesh S, Additional Professor, received the Dr. K.C. Das Memorial Award 2025 for the published best original study in the field of Lab Hematology.

Dr. Namrata Kaul won the Best DM Dissertation Award, while Dr. Sananda Kumar, Dr. Paras, and Dr. Aparna emerged winners of the National DM Hematology Quiz, reflecting outstanding integration of clinical and laboratory knowledge.

Nidhi received the Best Oral Presentation Award, and Dr. Shimreeth Hannah bagged the Best Poster Award in the malignant hematology category. Further, Dr. Shivani Bansal secured the First Prize for Oral Presentation at AP-IAP 2025, Bangkok, and at the 17th TCS Annual Conference, Kolkata, Dr. Rakshita Acharya and Dr. Meenakumari S received the Best Oral Presentation and Travel Award, respectively.
