All India Civil Services Table Tennis Tournament 2025–26

Chandigarh, January 17

The final day of the All India Civil Services Table Tennis Tournament 2025–26, organized by the Chandigarh Sports Department, concluded today at the Table Tennis Hall, Sector 23, Chandigarh, with a prize distribution ceremony and the formal closing of the championship.

The Chief Guest, Prerna Puri, Secretary Sports, Chandigarh Administration, congratulated all the winners and participants for their commendable performances and lauded the spirit of sportsmanship displayed throughout the tournament. She distributed prizes to the winners and officially declared the All India Civil Services Table Tennis Tournament 2025–26 closed.

The tournament witnessed keen competition in both individual and team events. In the Men’s Singles, Soumyadeep Sarkar (RSB Indore) clinched the title, while Kushi V (RSB Mumbai) emerged champion in the Women’s Singles event. In the Men’s Doubles, the pair of Karthikeyan S. & Anirban Roy Chowdhury (RSB Bengaluru) secured first position, whereas Manisha M. & Paulami Das (RSB Kolkata) won the Women’s Doubles title. The Mixed Doubles championship was claimed by Balusuri Varun Sanka and Paulami Das (RSB Kolkata).

In the Veterans category, Joginder Singh Bisht (CCSCSB Delhi) won the Veteran Men’s Singles title, while Sonal Joshi (RSB Ahmedabad) secured first place in the Veteran Women’s Singles. The Veteran Men’s Doubles title was won by Santanu Banerjee and Samit Biswas (RSB Kolkata) and the Veteran Women’s Doubles championship was claimed by Sonal Joshi & Neha Patel (RSB Ahmedabad).

In the team events, CCSCSB Delhi emerged as the champions in both Men’s and Women’s Team Championships, underlining their dominance in the tournament.

Other dignitaries present on the occasion included Dr. Mahender Singh, Joint Director Sports, Chandigarh Administration; Narayan Shashi, Nodal Officer; Dr. Bhagwant Singh, IYA; Vivek Kaushik, Observer (CCSCSB) and Nalin Somani, Chief Referee. The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation from civil services personnel across the country and successfully achieved its objective of promoting sportsmanship, fitness, and camaraderie among officers.
