Chandigarh, January 14
The Newly appointed Congress district presidents from Haryana and Uttarakhand arrived in Kurukshetra to participate in a comprehensive 10-day training camp organized by the All India Congress Committee. On this occasion, Sirsa MP and congress General Secretary Kumari Selja addressed the training session and emphasized the need to further strengthen the organization at the grassroots level.
Selja said that it is the need of the hour to effectively take the Congress ideology to villages, towns, and cities. Kumari Selja said that the organization can be strengthened only through continuous public engagement while giving priority to issues related to public welfare. Sharing the message of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, she called for greater organizational unity, discipline, and active public outreach.
Selja informed that this 10-day training program has been organized after the organizational restructuring process, with district presidents from Haryana and Uttarakhand participating. During the training, in-depth discussions will be held on the current situation of the Congress, its ideology, and its historical background. Field visits will also be conducted to villages to understand ground realities, so that future strategies can be formulated based on these experiences.
On this occasion, Haryana Congress In-charge BK Hariprasad, Training and Congress Message In-charge Sachin Rao, Haryana Congress President Rao Narendra Singh, and Congress MLA from Thanesar Ashok Arora were also present.
