Ambulance released from MP quota by Tewari dedicated to public service

Chandigarh, April 27

With the objective of ensuring that patients in medical emergencies are transported to hospitals on time, an ambulance purchased by the Indian Red Cross Society using funds released from Member of Parliament Manish Tewari’s MP quota was today dedicated to public service. On this occasion, MP Tewari flagged off the ambulance in the presence of senior officials.

Addressing the gathering, Tewari said that timely medical treatment during health emergencies significantly increases the chances of survival for patients. To fulfill this objective, he had released a grant of approximately ₹23 lakh from his MP quota. He added that the ambulance is equipped with advanced facilities as per current needs and expressed hope that it will play a crucial role in saving many valuable lives.

Tewari further stated that he is continuously working to ensure the overall development of the city, whether by providing basic amenities through grants from his MP quota or by raising key civic issues with the concerned departments and ensuring their resolution. Tewari assured that this effort will continue in the coming days.

On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Nishant Yadav, Additional Deputy Commissioner Amandeep Singh Bhatti, along with officials from various departments, were also present.
