As The News Gateway completes 10 months today, it is difficult to put into words the immense support I have received from all my well‑wishers. With great pride, I share that in this short span, The News Gateway team has worked tirelessly, day and night, to ensure readers get quality content. From the outset, we adopted a completely unbiased approach — particularly towards political outfits — ensuring fair representation strictly on merit. Since our journey began on November 1, 2025, we have welcomed countless suggestions from readers. Many have already been implemented, while others are in process.
Unlike most regional platforms confined to Punjab, Himachal Pradesh or Haryana, The News Gateway today covers the entire North India — Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, New Delhi and Chandigarh. Beyond regional coverage, every important development from across the country finds space in our Nation category.
We have been reporting on crucial issues with depth and responsibility. Notably, The News Gateway is perhaps the only website in Punjab with a dedicated Defence Category. This was a deliberate decision, recognizing that in recent years, hostile actions by neighbouring countries have compelled the Indian armed forces to conduct special operations against terror networks sponsored by Pakistan. Defence has rightly come into the spotlight and particularly after Operation Sindoor, people across India look forward to updates in this sector.
Meanwhile, in the coming months, The News Gateway will focus on providing readers with even more in‑depth coverage. This journey of 10 months would not have been so productive without the encouragement of readers, colleagues and well‑wishers.
